A Word from our Director, Meagan Harding RN MACN
As the sole business owner and director, Meagan Harding is justifiably proud of the success of Nursing Port Stephens and Tomaree Nursing Service. As Meagan says “nursing is not just following a set of procedures and protocols it is an unquantifiable ability. It is the ability to care for another human being as you could have them care for you, or a family member. This is not something that can be taught, it is felt. The staff of Tomaree Nursing Service Nursing Port Stephens have this gift and much more!
Care is directed to achieve and maintain the physical and psychological independence of people and their families through individual assessment of their needs. We liaise closely with GP’s and Specialists, to provide holistic care. The service also aims to educate clients and their families in self-care. Maximising independence and enabling clients to stay in their own home for as long as possible is our main goal.
Nursing Port Stephens’ Staff can provide referrals to Allied Health services including Occupational Therapy, ACAT, Palliative Care Outreach, Physiotherapy, Rehab facilities, Podiatry to name a few. Our Clients enjoy the independence we promote and the convenience of being seen and treated in their own homes.
